EMDA Announces New Executive Director

As many EMDA members have learned during the past several months, Patricia A. Collins, our Executive Vice President, informed our leadership of her plans to retire, after 38 years with the Association.

Over the course of the last year, the EMDA Board has conducted a nationwide search to fill this position, and is pleased to announce Celeste Lindsey has accepted the offer to become EMDA’s new Executive Director.

Celeste Lindsey

EMDA is thrilled to have Celeste join the team at EMDA. Several talented individuals were interviewed, but Celeste’s impressive background, outgoing personality, and vision to help lead EMDA into the future put her at the top of our list. EMDA is excited for the rest of their members to get the chance to meet her at the convention this fall.

Celeste began the new position on July 24 and will be working with Pat through the year on the transition. Pat will continue in her role as Executive Vice President through this year, and will complete her service to the Association in January, 2024.
