In Memoriam: Louis McNeil
Louis McNeil, who enjoyed a 61-year career in the agriculture equipment industry, died Sunday, Sept. 1, at the age of 90.
He launched McNeil Marketing Company in 1991 after retiring from his role as national sales manager at Farmhand Corp. He sold his company in 2003 and fully retired in 2012.
Steve Prouty, president of McNeil Marketing, had the opportunity to sit with Louis and wrote that he was in “good spirits” in his final days. “Please know, Louie traveled to his new territory knowing he made a positive difference in his life.”
